Michalis sa is pleased to announce its new online store for the promotion and distribution of Michalis handmade jewelry via the internet.The website “Michalis” (hereinafter referred to as the “Michalis E-Store”)is owned and edited by Michalis s.a (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and has its registered office at 4 Voukourestiou street, 10564, Athens, Greece with Tax Authority: “FAE” of Athens, General Commercial Registry No.: 86984402000), and the VAT Registration Number: EL094393233.
These Terms of Use set, in a clear and comprehensible manner, the terms governing and regulating the relations of the Company with each visitor and/or customer of the Michalis E-Store (website) in accordance with Law 2251/1994 on the “Protection of Consumers” and the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data and the National Executive Law No. 4624/2019 on the “Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data”, as currently in force.
These Terms of Use, conditions and regulations on the purchase of goods governing the Michalis E-Store apply exclusively to it and do not govern, in any way whatsoever, the operation of any other companies or shops affiliated therewith.
By accessing this website you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and any additional terms and conditions that are referenced below or otherwise may apply to specific areas of this website. You declare that you are legally able to accept these Terms of Use, and affirm that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

Our Diamonds and Colored Stones
Precious stones (diamond and colored stones) are formed in the earth’s interior in a way that remains almost inconceivable. Michalis is committed to offering high-quality diamonds and colored stones.
Every Michalis precious stone (diamond, emerald, ruby or sapphire) is chosen for its its natural beauty and exceptional character. Our gemologists check all diamonds and colored stones thoroughly and according to extremely stringent criteria. As a result, only the most exquisite gemstones find their way into our unique product range.
There are neither two diamonds nor two colored stones alike. The “ Four C’s” criteria –carat weight, cut, color and clarity –offer a useful starting point for diamonds. However diamonds that seem similar when judged by these criteria alone can vary greatly in character and sparkle. By applying a high level of gemological expertise, our gemologists choose our stones one by one for their special beauty.In regard with the ” 4 C’s”, as a rule we only use G-H color, VS-VVS clarity diamonds unless otherwise stated at specific jewelry .
Ethical Criteria: we only purchase diamonds which comply completely with the Kimberley Process requirements. The Kimberley Process, in force since 2002 and adopted by more than 80 countries, certifies that shipments of rough diamonds crossing an international border between two signatory countries have come from a conflict-free zone.

Note: Our guarantee do not cover the followings: damage resulting from accidents and improper use or misuse of jewelry, consequences of normal wear and tear of jewelry, as well as any damage resulting from repairs or manipulation not carried out by the Michalis workshop.
Purchase and Order Policy of the Michalis Online-Store.
General Terms
Michalis on line sale is available only in Greece at the moment. Shipments outside of Greece can be potentially executed following special agreement. For deliveries to other countries, please contact us to the following email address: info @michalis.gr.
In MICHALIS E-store available for on-line purchases are only products that bear prices and the label “ In Stock”. The characteristics of the “ online products “are mentioned for each item separately. The “Add to basket” option can be found in the description of these products.
Search and Purchase of products
You may use the search button to find very easily the products you desire. If you wish to purchase a product and make an order you may choose the most convenient payment method and fill the order’s form.
After completing the ‘order process’ you will receive an automated confirmation email, which will provide you with all the necessary information regarding your order.
Your order is completed when the Company has accepted it by sending a relevant written confirmation, namely an email, to you at the email address you had provided when placing this order.
Should you not receive a confirmation email for your order, please contact MICHALIS S.A immediately at info@michalis.gr in order to request that your order be successfully completed.
Placing a Product order is a binding purchase proposal for these Products in the total price shown at the time of placing the order; such a price includes VAT, packing and shipping costs, other applicable charges and any discounts you are entitled to as a visitor/customer.
In case any pending issues should arise, we will send you an e-mail or contact you at the telephone you will have registered. To this end, we highly recommend you to inform us of any changes regarding your contact information while your order is still pending, to make sure you receive all e-mails and to keep all e-mails during the order process.
MICHALIS S.A. reserves the right to cancel any order due to no availability or elimination of a product.
Ordering a product that bears the sign “out of stock”.
Products sold bear the sign “out of stock”. Such products can be reordered provided that there is availability of the stones needed. Please note: Carat weight of stones and price may vary slightly when we create handmade pieces.
For stones with fancy shapes there may be scarcity at the moment. In case of non-availability, we wιll let you know.
Jewelry without prices are not available for sale online. However, if they are still available in our stores or there is availability of stones needed for their construction, they can be ordered with special agreement. Create Your Own Jewelry
If you desire a unique jewelry piece or to recreate an old jewel, we are here to create the design of your dreams. Whatever your wish, you will start by having with us a personal consultation at a Michalis store to discuss the design, the stones we will use and the budget frame you want to allocate.If a meeting is not possible, we can send you suggestions via email. Cancelling your Οrder
An order that has been registered and has not yet been delivered may be canceled (in whole or in part), within the time period between its submission and the notice of confirmation of its shipment. After this moment, it is not possible to cancel it.For any cancellation of an order (in whole or in part), you should send an e-mail to info@michalis.gr or call us (+30) 210 3222360 or (+30) 210 8982607.
Cancellation of an Οrder by Us
MICHALIS S.A. reserves the right to cancel any order if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
- We do not deliver to your area.
- One or more of the items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email or by telephone, and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Prices
At Michalis, we offer a broad selection of diamond and colored stones jewelry at competitive prices. The price of each piece of jewelry available for sale online includes the Greek VAT (24%). These prices concern products and quantities available at the Company.
Our Right for Changes
MICHALIS S.A. reserves the right to change, modify, the available items, their prices, shipping charges, and the operation of the MICHALIS E-store, at any time without prior notice.
Payment Methods-Shop with Trust
We suggest the following payment methods for your purchases:
- Cash on Delivery (only for Greece)
For an amount up to € 500.00 in total, you are able to pay cash at the time you receive your order by the courrier. Cash on delivery payment is free of charge.
2. Bank Deposit
You can deposit the equivalent of your order at MICHALIS S.A. bank account, strictly within 5 days, counting from the date that your order has been registered. If not, your order will be cancelled.
Please fill the Statement of Deposit (Bank document of payment) with:
- Your full name
- Your order’s number, which will be sent to you via e-mail, after your order’s checkout process.

3. Credit Card
You will be redirected to the platform of Alpha Bank, a pioneer in the field of secure electronic transactions, which guarantees the credibility and security of your purchases. Your card data will not be stored anywhere and it is not released to any third parties whatsoever (not even to the provider of the product you are buying). ΜICHALIS S.A. does not collect or store your card data. That is the reason why you need to re-enter your card data every time you purchase products from our online store.
Transactions Security: All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of “Alpha e-Commerce” of Alpha Bank and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
Shipment-Delivery

Deliveries are made during working days, Monday through Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00.
All delivered goods are accompanied by the appropriate fiscal documentation. If a shipment is intended as a gift, please give us notice during the ordering procedure as to ship the order with a simple shipping document.
Orders are shipped after the full confirmation of payment.
Delivery within Athens
Orders above or equal 100,00 €. are shipped free of charge within Athens. For orders below 100,00 €, the delivery cost is 5,00€ .
Delivery for the rest of Greece
Orders above or equal 100,00 €. are shipped free of charge. For orders below 100,00 €, the delivery cost is 7,00€ .
Delivery outside Greece within the European Union
Free shipping cost for orders above 700,00 €. For orders below 700,00 €, the delivery cost is 25,00 €.
Delivery everywhere else
Free shipping cost for orders above 700,00 €. For orders below 700,00 €, the delivery cost is 45,00 €.
Attention: Delivery outside the European Union are subject to customs charges.
Any such charges are extra to the shipping cost, differ from country to country and will be required to be settled on receipt of the goods by the recipient. Thus, customers are advised to contact their local customs office to guide them accordingly.

Delivery time
Products will be shipped by courier within three (3) business days at the latest as of the date your order was confirmed, to the place you have indicated when placing your order and in accordance with the availability stated on the product webpage.
Handling, dispatch and delivery of orders are carried out on a daily basis, except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. As soon as your order will be shipped, we shall send you an email.
For regions within Greece considered as “Hard to reach” by the courier company, the delivery time might vary.

Upon receipt of your product, we recommend that you personally check the product delivered and confirm that its packaging remains intact.
Returns and Exchange Policy
You have the right to return any products purchased within 14 business days and request their exchange or refund. After 14 calendar days from the day the product has been received by the user, no right of return can be granted.
Shipment of New Products.
The return and replacement of products within Greece is FREE of charge through the use of the collaborating courier company.
If the value of the new order is lower than the value of the initial order, the company will not refund you the difference. This difference will be credited to the customer’s name for future purchases.
Return and Exchange Procedure
- Contact us through email at info@michalis.gr and request return or replacement.
Please Include: Your name, your order number, the reason of the return and whether you would like to receive a replacement or a refund.
During two working days we will communicate with you and send you the cooperating courier company to pick up the product or products to be returned.
- Prepare your return parcel. Include all original packaging and materials. The courier will pick up your package at from the address you mentioned when you email us your return.
Upon receipt of your return a thorough check will be executed and if no problem or defect arises with the product, the packaging or the accompanying documents you will be notified by email with the approval of your request.
Return of funds
In case you do not wish a replacement for your order with an alternative or new product, the return of funds will be executed within 14 business days for the receipt of the return by the company.
The return of funds will be executed through the same manner of the initial payment of the purchase, unless your original payment was CASH ON DELIVERY. The return of funds in such a case will be made through Bank Transfer, to a bank account of the client.
It is absolutely necessary that the client provides through email at info@michalis.gr the IBAN of his bank account, the bank where this account is held, the name of the accounts beneficiary as it appears in his bank statement. For reasons of security, the beneficiary or the co-beneficiary of the account must be the same person as the one appearing on the purchase receipt.
Return is accepted only if each product you wish to return:
- Is in the same excellent condition as delivered, untouched and unused, inside its Michalis packaging.
- Has been received, checked and approved by the company.
- Is accompanied by all its documents, product code, guarantee, document of transport, receipt etc.).
Returns which do not cover the above conditions will not be accepted, and will be returned to the client at his cost.
Returns are not accepted also for:
1.Products with signs of use.
2.Products specifically customized for the clients.
- Seasonal products (New Year’s Charms, Easter products etc.).
- Return of already returned products.
Purchases made as gifts can be exchanged with other products and are not redeemed for cash.
In case the product to be changed is less valuable than the original order, the cash difference will not be refunded, but will be credited to your name for future purchases.

Intellectual Rights and Trade Marks
All the content of www.michalis.gr site, trademarks, copyright, the distinctive titles, the marks, the logos, the images, the graphics, the photos, the drawings, the texts and in general all the files of this e-store are the intellectual property of the MICHALIS S.A and are protected by the relevant provisions of Greek law, European law and international conventions. Therefore, it is forbidden to copy, modify, distribute, or republish any graphics, images, logos, videos, text of the contents of this website for any purpose,except in cases of individual storage for personal use and not for public or commercial use and without deleting the indication of origin from the website of this store.It is forbitten the use of the distinctive title «MICHALIS» and www.michalis .gr in a way that offends her identity, or misleads the public about the actual provider of this online store.
Limitation of liability
MICHALIS S.A makes any effort in order to ensure that the information appearing on the website is accurate, complete and updated on a regular basis. By using this website, the visitor and/or the customer accepts and is bound by the terms and conditions applicable on the date of its use.
MICHALIS S.A does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of all information contained on this website, nor guarantee that the use of its website will be uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free or that any error will be automatically corrected.
The company cannot guarantee the availability of the products, but it can guarantee that it will make any effort possible to inform consumers timely of the non-availability or of any delays in the delivery of the products ordered.
Applicable law and other terms
These terms and conditions, as well as any amendments thereto, are governed and construed in accordance with the Greek law. If any provision is declared to be null or void, it shall automatically cease to be in force, without the validity of the remaining terms being in any way affected.For any dispute arising out of the use of the Michalis E-Store, there shall have jurisdiction the competent courts of Athens.
Events Beyond our Control
Michalis S.A will not be in breach of this agreement or otherwise liable for any delay in performance if to the extent that any delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond Michalis S.A reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
